• JAAWS is a joint project of Society and Animals Forum (formerly known as PSYETA) and The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

• JAAWS encourages submission of brief report research reports and comments on any aspect of applied animal welfare science.

• All submitted manuscripts are peer-reviewed by a panel of section editors who oversee an even more complete review by a distinguished board of editors.

The Journal of Applied Animal Welfare Science, subscriptions are sold, by the publisher, Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, to libraries and other institutions for $355 per year HOWEVER , they are available for Society & Animals Forum MEMBERS for US$ 22.50 and US$ 50 to NON MEMBERS.
